Juniper berries are under-used in the kitchen, and we’re trying to change that. Our Juniper Berry Spice Rub is a delicious blend of juniper berries, Malabar black peppercorns, fennel seeds, cloves, coriander, and coarse sea salt. It’s peppery and complex, but the piney flavour of juniper is definitely the star. This rub is ideal for game meats like venison, duck or bison, but it will work just as well with beef or fatty fish like halibut.
Ingredients: juniper berries, black pepper, sea salt, fennel, coriander, cloves.
