Our version of a classic. This spice mix was originally developed in Baltimore in the 1940s and traditionally sprinkled on steamed crabs. The original seasoning was produced in Baltimore until about 1990 when it was purchased by the world’s biggest spice company. It’s still sold in the classic yellow tin, but we wonder how mass production has affected the freshness and flavour.
Our Baltimore Bay Line Seasoning is carefully hand-mixed from fresh ingredients and it’s delicious on crabs, shellfish and other seafood. In Baltimore, this blend is often seen as a condiment in restaurants and movie theatres – it’s a very versatile blend so you can use it on almost anything. Try sprinkling some on fries, on eggs, in a sandwich or on your popcorn.
